What you should know about me
It is my practice to “do the least harm” in approaching every case. Effective representation, to me, implies a need to address the concerns and priorities of a client in the context of their own lives, values and priorities. It is important for a client to have the “freedom” to define what that means for them. I do my best to keep the client fully informed and as an active participant in decision-making. I have maintained good working relationships with other lawyers in this area, because it accrues to the benefit (financial and otherwise) of my clients and encourages a problem-solving approach. I am an avid reader and writer, as is attested by my unfolding “novel”, blog and “Twitter” (Yes, Twitter!) activities on the divorce-express Website. Working with people involved in a difficult time of their lives is a challenge many lawyers avoid. However, from my perspective, it continues to be a uniquely challenging learning experience.
